For gemini.google.com:

  1. Open Settings, then Connected Apps.
  2. Under Custom apps, choose Add a custom app.
  3. Name: AI Shopping Mate
  4. URL: https://api.aishoppingmate.com/mcp
  5. Save, then start a new chat.

Custom apps are rolling out gradually. If you don’t see the option yet, use Gemini CLI, or check again later.
